Recently, the opening ceremony of the fifth president class and Zhejiang University Hangzhou Xiaogang high level strategic talent training class was officially held in the multifunctional hall on the 6th floor of Hangzhou headquarters. In order to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control, the ceremony was conducted by combining "Online + offline". Sun Jianping, director of EDP center of School of management of Zhejiang University, and Shan Jihua, President of Hangxiao steel structure attended the ceremony; Nearly 60 students from Hangxiao headquarters and various subsidiaries participated.

It is worth mentioning that the seminar is the result of the joint education of Hangxiao steel structure and Zhejiang University. The well-known experts and professors of Zhejiang University have tailored a comprehensive management course system covering strategy, technology, human resources, etc. for Hangxiao, and established a teaching mode combining theory with practice.

After the host announced the commencement of the ceremony, Sun Jianping, director of EDP center of School of management of Zhejiang University, delivered a speech. After introducing the responsibilities of the EDP center of the school of management of Zhejiang University, director Sun Jianping made a specific analysis of the significance of entering Hangxiao to carry out the training of middle and senior management personnel.

The EDP (executive development programs) center of the school of management of Zhejiang University is one of the three teaching institutions of the school of management of Zhejiang University, together with MBA and EMBA. It is responsible for the implementation of non academic programs for the development and training of senior managers. Since its establishment in 2004, relying on the profound academic background of Zhejiang University and the first-class discipline background advantages of the school of management, under the guidance of the school's value of "cultivating healthy forces leading China's development", it has adhered to the scientific and rigorous talent training spirit to cultivate senior management talents and leaders with international vision, innovation ability, entrepreneurship and social responsibility. For five consecutive years, it won the first prize of "advanced collective of continuing education of Zhejiang University", and for two consecutive years, it was ranked first in the "Zhejiang management consulting and training industry demonstration organization" announced by Zhejiang Provincial Economic and Information Commission. Then, in his speech, President Shan Jihua introduced the purpose and starting point of the talent seminar held by Hangxiao steel structure, and thanked the teachers of EDP center of School of management of Zhejiang University for their support and hard work in the course of the seminar. In the first class, Zhou Yaqing, a doctoral lecturer with practical experience in education management and training, brought a wonderful course on role recognition and core management ability improvement of managers to the students, which described the core essence and underlying logic of modern management and the cultivation and improvement of leadership of managers.
